Peanut Butter Cookies {Recipe}

Peanut Butter cookies – yum! These are my specialty; whenever I make them I have to make an extra batch for my best friend, who just loves them! This recipe yields 3 dozen cookies.
Ingredients

3/4 cup peanut butter (I prefer extra crunchy!) 1/2 cup (or 1/2 stick) Crisco shortening 1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar3 tbsp milk1 tbsp vanilla extract1 large egg 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour3/4 tsp baking soda3/4 tsp salt
DirectionsPreheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Beat until mixed and add egg, beat until blended. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to peanut butter mixture slowly, mixing in. Drop onto cookie sheet (covered with parchment paper), then use a fork to make a cross-cross pattern on the top. Bake one cookie sheet at a time for 7-8 minutes, until golden brown. Cool and enjoy! Recipe adapted from Jifxoxo
